OAU Student Union Leader Visits Orphanage to Mark His Birthday

Jadams, popular OAU SUG former speaker, erstwhile E.CU. bible study secretary was at the Moro Orphanage in Ife North L.G.A. to show love and support for the less privilege in the month of June.  The award winning celebrant was mobbed by appreciative boys and girls, orphans of various ages, as he donated foodstuff and other household items to them. Jadams, presently lecturing Estate Management at Oduduwa University, Ipetumodu, was accompanied by the Provost of the Oba O. Sijuade College of Environment Design and Management; Prof S.A. Olateru-Olagbegi and other friends. Jadams has many leadership awards from within and outside Nigeria. Jadams is a no-nonsense leader with a penchant for upholding the rule of law: making students to obey the leaders and ensuring that constituted authority does not become tyranny that terrorizes students, lecturers and other workers.  With a vision for higher offices in future, Jadams  is cut out to be a success in any leadership position he attains, since his spiritual roots compliment his mental and physical aspirations. Born Joshua Udegbe Adama many years ago to a military family headed by the revered retired Major General Adama- the man who led the Odi invasion ordered by President Obasanjo many years ago- this soldier turned academician never relates with anybody as a certified “golden spoon.” In fact, Jadams prefer to identify with the less privileged at all levels while ensuring that the privileged are not threatened in any way. Jadams is kind to a fault; this is illustrated by the story of the Hausa guy who exploited Jadam’s kindness to get money from him for the repair of his allegedly stalled, faulty car, allegedly parked in Ife North Local Government Area, close to where Jadams works. The man promised to repay once he got to Kaduna, but alas, we got to know later that he was a con artiste, just out to exploit kind hearted people. Instances like these Joshua waved off as one of those things, and he continues to lend helping hands to the really needy, ignoring the occasional banditry of pretending con men. Happy birthday to a kind hearted leader who chooses to give than to receive. Many happy returns Joshua Adams Udegbe.
